Dr. Suvida Neramit-aram has won numerous awards and competitions. Suvida received second prize from the third Paris International Internet Music Competition (2018), first prize in the Concerto competition (college division) at the American Fine Arts Festival (2017), first prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition in London (2017), first prize at the Susan Torres Award in California, USA (2015), second prize at the Thailand Steinway Piano Concerto Competition (2012), and a silver medal award from the Settrade Music Competition in Thailand.
A passionate and active pianist, Suvida performed with the Bangkok Charity Orchestra in 2012. In 2016, she was selected to perform in front of General Prem Tinsulanonda, who was the president of the Privy Council serving the King of Thailand (RAMA IX). In 2017, Suvida played in the prestigious music hall, Royal Albert Hall in London, and in 2018 she performed at the Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) in New York City, USA. She has also given many charity solo recitals and chamber concerts in Bangkok to contribute to the betterment society in her home country. Moreover, she has attended several masterclasses conducted by well-known artists: Menahem Pressler, Sergei Babayan, Dominique Merlet, Peter Frankl, Philippe Entremont, Rebecca Penneys, Thomas Schumacher, Margit Haider, and John Owings.
Born and raised in Bangkok, Suvida Neramit-aram studied with Thailand's foremost piano teachers Mr. Nat Yontararak (Steinway artist) and Dr. Nopanand Chanorathaikul. Suvida completed her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Lynn University, graduating summa cum laude. A recipient of the Jack H. Lund Scholarship, Suvida completed a Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutorage of Mack McCray and Sharon Mann.
Suvida completed a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the University of Texas, Austin under the tutorage of Professor Gregory Allen.
